I have added these two works to my recommended reading list on the Pet Loss Canada website AND have also, fortunately, been able to add them to my personal library as well. These are, obviously, two very distinct approaches to the discussion of pets and animal loss: one about making a difficult yet necessary decision and one about yearning and memories. I can say, with much certainty, that these are two of the finest written discussions I have seen.
